What is WordPress?

WordPress is an open-source content management system (CMS), which means that the software is completely free to install, use & modify. It is written in PHP and started as a simple blog platform but it has evolved into a powerful & versatile tool that can be used to create any type of website you want, even if you don’t know how to write a single line of code.

You can also create new Themes or customize existing ones if have experience with PHP.
